Hearth privacy policy
Hearth has no accounts and never asks for your name, email or contacts. Your fire and settings stay on your device. Hearth collects no data about you and sends nothing to us.
No accounts, analytics or ads
There is no sign-in or account. Hearth contains no analytics, advertising or tracking code, and it creates no install ID or other identifier. The art and sounds ship inside the app. Hearth has no server of its own: nothing you do in the app reaches us.
What stays on your device
Your fire, woodshed, chosen scene and settings are saved in the app's own storage on your phone. None of it is sent to us. Deleting the app deletes this data. On iPhone, app data can be part of your own iCloud or computer backup, which Apple handles for you. On Android, Hearth opts out of system backup.
Microphone, only for Blow
Blow lets you blow on the fire. It is off until you turn it on and allow microphone access. After that, Hearth listens only while the mic button by the fire is counting down, and it measures how loud and breathy the sound is to move the flames.
That sound is processed on your device as it arrives. It is never recorded, saved or sent anywhere. You can turn Blow off in Settings or remove microphone access in your phone’s settings at any time.
Notifications are local
If you allow notifications, Hearth schedules them on your phone, to tell you when your fire is getting low or only embers are left. There is no push server, and no notification data leaves your device. You can turn them off in Settings.
Purchases go through Apple and Google
Hearth Pass is bought through the App Store or Google Play. The store handles payment, and we never see your payment details or your Apple or Google account. The app asks the store on your device whether you own Hearth Pass. When the app asks you for a rating, it uses the system rating prompt, and your rating goes to Apple or Google.
Children
Hearth collects no data from anyone, including children: no names, no contact details and no identifiers.
